The holder of a PPL may fly as commander or co-pilot, without compensation, any San Marino-registered aircraft on nonprofit flights over the territory of the Republic of San Marino, and the Republic of Italy, as well as in the airspace of other ICAO member states provided he\/she holds an English radiotelephony certificate.<\/p>\n\n<p>Piloting Aircraft Registered in Italy or other European Community Member State requires an endorsement with the Authority of the State of registration or holding an EASA license.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites<\/h4>\n\n<p>PPL applicants must have:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>17 years of age or older,<\/li><li>Possess a valid 1st or 2nd class medical certificate.<\/li><li>meet the requirements for the class rating of at least the aircraft used for the examination.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Examination<\/h4>\n\n<p>For the attainment of the PPL, the student must apply to the San Marino Civil Aviation which will subject him\/her to a theoretical examination on the subjects in the program through multiple choice quizzes (pass mark 75%), and a practical examination.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-columns stk-block-columns stk-block stk-9b60714\" data-block-id=\"9b60714\"><style>.stk-9b60714 .stk--block-align-9b60714{align-items:center !important}.stk-9b60714{margin-bottom:50px !important}.stk-9b60714-column{--stk-column-gap:60px !important}<\/style><div class=\"stk-row stk-inner-blocks stk--block-align-9b60714 stk-block-content stk-content-align stk-9b60714-column\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-column stk-block-column stk-column stk-block stk-39ad374\" data-block-id=\"39ad374\"><style>.stk-39ad374-container{margin-top:0px !important;margin-right:0px !important;margin-bottom:0px !important;margin-left:0px !important}<\/style><div class=\"stk-column-wrapper stk-block-column__content stk-container stk-39ad374-container stk--no-background stk--no-padding\"><div class=\"stk-block-content stk-inner-blocks\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aircraft<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aircraft used for the achievement of the Private Aircraft Pilot license is the Cessna 152.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Price<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost of the theoretical-practical course, including 116 hours of theoretical lessons and 45 hours of flight time in the Cessna 152, is about \u20ac9500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The theoretical course lasts four months;
